What are Caribbean Stud Poker rules?

The game is like other types of poker as players are dealt five cards. However, there are several twists and turns in this Caribbean Stud Poker. One of the things that makes this game so fun, for example, is the decision making. For example, players must decide whether to raise or fold at different times than other variations of live poker.

How does Caribbean Stud Poker work?

Every round, the live dealer and the player are each dealt five cards. All player’s cards are dealt face up. Only one of the dealer’s cards is face up. The other four are face down.

At this stage of the game the player can win the extra very attractive 5 + 1 Bonus bet. The player’s five cards, as well as the only face up card that the dealer has been considered here. If he gets a “three of a kind” or better, the player can earn bonus money. This bonus money is quite attractive and can multiply the bet up to 1000 times.

This is also the moment of the game when the player must decide to raise or fold. After that, the dealer’s other four cards were turned face up. This is when the player finds out if he has a winning hand.

For the dealer’s hand to qualify, it must contain an ace and a king or better. The minimum qualifying hand contains an ace, a king, a four, a three and a two. Hands with at least one pair and more are also qualified. If the player’s hand is better, he wins the Ante bet. If a player’s hand is better and the dealer qualifies, the player also wins the bet amount. Eventually, if the player produces a royal flush, he also has a chance to win the big jackpot. The jackpot increases in value with each round of play until it is won with a royal flush.

However, it’s not just the Royal Flush that can pay off. The same single side bet also gives players the opportunity to win a range of other fixed value payouts. These include hands comprising “three of a kind”, a straight, a flush, a full house, a “four of a kind” and a straight flush.
